dear friends, i am so very eager to undertake an extended water fast under proper supervision and experienced guidance. you see, i have one obstruction, i do not have access to the finances required to pay for such. i am willing to work-trade for the time and space once the fast is complete. also, i am extremely flexible as to repayment as this is my only priority. might any one know of such a person and/or place in which something may be worked out? all the best dear friends...whole heartedly, stephen

Thankyou, For a stimulating site Of revelations and confirmations. A just and rightful tribute To commonsense and Mother Nature In a disordered and confused world. I am assured to know there are Committed and inspirational individuals Working towards improving mankind's lot. I envy the day when we grow up and learn Respect: Respect for oneself; Respect for one's fellows; and Respect for The Earth from which We are made, and to which We must return; To tread lightly upon our wondrous spaceship; To leave only footprints of goodwill, and to take only cherished memories. Dr. Sidhwa, I am 61. Diagnosed by traditional medicine with breast cancer (1984/bilateral mascectomy), multiple schlerosis (1976, Prednisone), and diverticulosis (1979). I met Freida Kabalac in Tallahassee, Florida, Natural Hygeine, US, and she changed my life in 1989. Today, some of the scars that were visible in MRI are gone. I work full time as a middle school librarian. And am happily divorced. It all works together. Thank you for being available on internet. I love this technology. Joy Lewis

My name is Rusty. I have had joint pain since my early twenties. When I was 38 I lost a kidney because of the anti-inflamatories I was taking for the pain. At age 41 I was diagnosed with cancer. The good news is that the Chemo killed the cancer, the bad new was that it also attacked my joints. The pain became almost unbarable, especialy since I could take nothing for the pain. I had to quit all physical activity. With in two weeks of going on CMO It was like I had never had arthritis or any kind of joint pain. I am active again. I play my son in tennis atleast twice a week. CMO was the best thirty dollars I ever spent. Sure I spend that now every month but that is only a fraction of the cost of what I was paying for prescriptions before I lost my kidney. If you have joint pain or arthritis Check out the medical documentation on my web page. It could be the best 10 minutes you ever spent.

I studied Natual Hygiene for many years, but never fully lived it and many times lived it very little. Last week, after many months of serious illness, I was diagnosed with malignant lymphoma. (Prior to that it was lupus, fibromyalgia, rhumatoid arthritis, and most recently, prior to the latest "death sentence," I was told I had active T.B.--and Yes, the "opothies" from many sources from caring (and some not so caring, but "determined" that their way is the best way) people are being called, e-mailed, and written to me. A loving friend who has been a macrobiotics cooking teacher for over 20 years moved me into her home and compassionately tended me and cooked for me. It did not take long for me to sense that the mostly cooked foods and the chaotic atmosphere were not supporting my healing. I also learned while there that the books I had begun studying on the macrobiotic cancer prevention diet and cancer prevention cookbooks were written by an author who has recently undergone chemo, radiation, etc for cancer. i also noticed that both my angel friend and her husband were ill and stressed and their relationship wa strained. I gently asked to be taken home. I know my answer lies within, and in the changes i MUST make in my lifestyle, diet, attitude, desire to live, etc. I feel blessed to have discovered your site when I typed in the key words, Natural Hygiene, and hit ENTER. I have ENTERED. Thank God. Any recommendations regarding Natural Hygiene, diet, fasting, etc, in relation to Lymphoma/non-hodgkins, etc. will be gratefully received.

You made mention of the great Stanley Lief on your web-site. I first knew of him in 1940 when in the R.A.F I was walking along Blackpool sea-front and I purchased my first copy of "Health for all". I was due to go overseas and was dreading the routine jabs which I then thought was compulsory. One of the articles I read that lucky day was "You dont have to have the needle". N eedless to say I refused the jabs and was rideculed by the M.O's,and was told I must sign my pay book in red-ink to that effect, and my wife or family would lose all pension rights if I fell victim to one of the diseases they wanted to inoculate me for. I went to the Middle East for nearly 2 years. Became a vegetarian, drank Palestinian orange juice daily rather than the chemicalised water at the camp, and came home fitter than ever. Am now an 82 year old Vegan, healthy, happy, and hoping to catch up with my Auntie who is nearly 102. Your way is so right. Thanks for reminding me of Stanley Lief, whom I would have loved to have met.

I have a question as well. This is an enlightening source of info to a college student, and I am likely to try the methods. This is the first time I have seen good health advertised without being sold as well. I applaud your efforts in the field. My question: can a lifestyle contrary to yours (i.e. drinking, smoking, not enough sleep, eating anything) lead to a sort of mental detachment (overanalyzing situations, thinking for hours on nothing in particular when your supposed to be studying, and ADD)? If you do answer questions on this site, I would appreciate some counsel.

Hi Kekei: I hope you remember me. You stayed with me in the mid-80s at my parents house in Old Brookville, NY. Also, I saw you in the summer of '85 when I was suffering from a chronic ulcer of the duodenum. You recommended someone in New Delhi and I fasted for 12 days on saffed peter juice and coconut water and all the symtems disappeared. This was after a medical doctor had told me that I would die if I refused to take the medication he prescribed for me. Hope you are healthy and that your kids are all well. Someone from India called me recently who has severe psoriasis and is overweight and is looking for a clinic to attend to deal with this. Any suggestions? love and best wishes, happy

Answer to last question: there are at least 2 courses - Dr. Fielder's course and TC Fry's, recently edited by Dr. Sniadach - see e.g. for links. Many doctors have lectures for patients fasting with them. For literature - contact e.g. for a list of some of Herbert Shelton's and other NH books. E.g. Dr. Sidhwa's Quintessence book is a good introduction.

In New York though there are several good hygienic physicians - follow the Hygienic Physicians Webring or the Natural Hygiene Webring, from Dr. Sidhwa's homepage - and you will find some names. For example Dr. Bass, with 40+ years experience - and Dr. Fuhrman, who is younger but trained as a medical doctor. This is a good page to start at: Best of luck with your search!

I am so delighted to find out about this field and Dr. Sidhwa's guestbook! I am moved to this quest due to an ill relative who has liver stones. She is preparing for surgery to remove them and I know there must be a better way! If anyone can help me I would apreciate it. This woman is my mother-in-law living in Multan,Pakistan. She has had several complications these past few weeks due to these stones; she is diabetic and has high blood pressure; her age is close to 60 years. Because she suffered a mild heart attack she was hospitalized. An improper injection caused her to slip into a coma; Doctors worked on her and she recovered. She is now home recuperating at home in preparation for this surgery to remove these stones. Perhaps Dr. Sidhwa could recommend something for her. We all would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
